We pride ourselves on being able to handle the jobs other companies can’t do. Our custom equipment lets us haul more weight than our competitors, helping our customers when they’re in a jam. In the rare case that we cannot help you with your drayage needs, we will find you someone who can! Our goal is your satisfaction, even if we aren’t the ones who get the job done for you. Our customers are our first priority, alongside safety.

Safety

We strive to maintain a top safety rating in the industry. At Priority Container Services, Inc. the legal allowable range for violations and accidents isn’t good enough – we aim to be the best at what we do! We only hire drivers who share our commitment to safety on and off the roads.
All of our equipment is regularly checked to ensure we maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, as well as meeting our own high standards for safety.
Our safety program is top of the line. We meet with our drivers frequently to assure safety is in the forefront of their mind. Being a smaller office than some of our competitors, we all work closely together, which helps keep everyone communicating smoothly and keeps safety our priority during every trip.

History

Priority Container Services, Inc. dba PCS Logistics has performed its services in the Port of Detroit since its inception in 1995. With a management team working together since 1987, we have managed to survive many obstacles throughout our history and continue to offer our value added services to all of our customers, big and small, with special emphasis in the intermodal market.

Equipment

Our fleet consists of late model, company-owned tractors and fully refurbished container chassis that are always DOT approved. In addition to industry standard equipment, we have a variety of specialized tractors (4 axle) and chassis (both 4, 5, and 6 axle units) and other units to accommodate greater payloads for our customers. We utilize a combination of company drivers and well-qualified owner operators and maintain control and consistency of our equipment.

Moving Forward

We have evolved into a well recognized operation which mainly focuses on our customer needs for drayage services into and out of the Port of Detroit. We service Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois on a daily basis. As well, we provide specialized services to the East  and West Coast ports.

Our goal is to successfully meet the challenges that are presented in today’s marketplace and utilize our in-depth logistics and specialized services to minimize customer cost with special attention to Priority Container Services’ core values:  service, safety, and reliability.We are well positioned to support all of our customer base and still remain competitive within our industry.
